The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is located at the centre of the city. It is easily accessible by various means of public transportation:

Three types of taxis are operating in Hong Kong: Urban red taxi, New Territories green taxi, and Lantau Island blue taxi. All three types of taxis serve Hong Kong International Airport, but ONLY Urban red taxis go to PolyU. First 2 kilometres or any part thereof of hiring a red taxi costs HK$22. For details, please read TAXI FARE . Additional charges occur for large baggage. The toll and return toll are both payable by a passenger for cross-harbour hiring.

Bus A21 goes from Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) Bus Terminus to Hung Hom Station. A footbridge at Hung Hom Station Exit A1 leads you to the campus. It takes around 1 hour and HK$33.
- On foot
Intercity Through Train Concourse is at Hung Hom Station Exit C. A footbridge at Hung Hom Station Exit A1 leads you to the campus.

Most Buildings on campus are accessible via ramps or lifts. Signs are available inside cores to indicate the location of wash rooms for the physically disabled. Connections between campus and Hung Hom Station as well as bus stop Cross Habour Tunnel Toll Plaza (most platforms) are accessible via ramps and lifts.
The venues of the conference are located in Hung Hom, close to Victoria Harbour. Most hotels nearby enjoy both harbour view and city view and the prices vary depending on the view. Please click here for details.
According to the information from Immigration Department, nationals of about 170 countries and territories may visit Hong Kong without a visa/entry permit for a period ranging from 7 days to 180 days.
